I was so amazed by this incredible young girl’s story and how she took on food allergies even though she doesn’t have them herself. Her story is truly inspiring and one you don’t want to miss. It gives hope, shares compassion and inspires all of us to stay strong on our journey. I am honored to share more about Alannah Williams and her company Dance Like A Cupcake!

Dance Like a Cupcake

  1. Can you tell us about yourself?

My name Alannah! I love to bake, read, play with American Girl Dolls, spending time with my family, and playing with my friends!

  1. What are your food allergies?

I do not have any food allergies but I do not drink milk, or eat cheese and eggs.

  1. What inspired you to create your company Dance Like a Cupcake?

My little brother was diagnosed with food allergies. He is allergic to dairy, eggs, soy, sesame, peanuts, and tree nuts. My mom used to make lots of treats for him so that he wouldn’t feel left out. She taught me to bake and I love it! I wanted to share baking tips, recipes, and desserts with other people who have food allergies!

  1. How do you feel you are making a difference with your company?

I am telling the world about food allergies and showing kids that they can have a business too!

  1. What advice do you have for other kids who have food allergies?

Don’t get sad if you can’t eat something that’s not safe for you. It’s more important to stay safe!!

Always be prepared! Carry a safe snack and any medicines you need.

  1. What are your goals for the future with Dance Like A Cupcake?

I am continuing to work on my dessert cookbook. I plan to teach my little brother to bake so we can do it together.

Thank you for your support and remember to Dance Like A Cupcake!
